University of Central Florida

UCF is located inOrlando, Florida and is the second-largest university in the United States byenrollment. It was opened in 1968 under the name Florida TechnologicalUniversity before changing its name to University of Central Florida 10 yearslater. The original goal of the school was to train future personnel for theKennedy Space Center (which is located only 35 miles east of the UCF).
