Eastern Michigan University

Eastern Michigan University is a publicuniversity with over 18,500 undergraduates and an exceptional faculty. It wasfounded in 1849 as Michigan State Normal College but has grown to be one of thelargest universities in the state of Michigan with a main campus in Ypsilanti,just 20 miles west of Detroit, and seven satellite locations throughout thestate. The campus itself is full of beautiful landscaping and natural areas andis ideally located on the banks of Ford Lake, and has over 18 miles of walkwaysand jogging trails.
