We offer both indoor and drive up storage here at Ballpark Self Storage, and each comes with different advantages depending on how you plan to use them.
The term indoor storage describes storage spaces that are found inside a building. These storage spaces provide more protection against the elements than drive up spaces because they're fully covered inside of a structure.
Drive-up storage spaces are located along the exterior of the building so you can literally drive right up to them. These spaces allow you to easily unload and load your vehicle, making it a breeze to put stuff in, or take stuff out of your storage space. These are convenient spaces if you know you're going to store belongings that would be difficult to carry in and out of a building, especially when those buildings have multiple floors.

4.5
âNice clean space with a friendly staff..â
âI really would not recommend this storage facility, especially if youâre planning on moving a lot of stuff in or out. First, I genuinely did not feel safe here. There appeared to be a significant number of homeless tenants staying in or around storage units, and I often felt uncomfortable walking through the facility by myself. It also made me uneasy about leaving my belongings here long-term. The actual moving situation is a nightmare. For a facility with what seems like hundreds of units, there are only THREE carts/trolleys availableâtwo large and one smallâand one of the large ones was broken when I was moving out. So realistically, everyone in this huge building was fighting over two usable carts. The elevators are somehow even worse. There are only two elevators serving the entire facility. When I was moving my things out, we were told we couldnât use one of them because someone else was moving out and had priority over it. Iâm sorry⌠I was also moving out?? That left essentially one elevator for everyone else in the building. Parking is HORRENDOUS. There are only about five spots, and two were occupied by employees when I was there. During my move-out, moving trucks were taking up some of the remaining space, so at one point there was basically nowhere to park while actively trying to load my belongings. The staff didnât make the experience any better. Some interactions came across as rude, and it was surprisingly difficult to actually find someone when I needed help because staff seemed to constantly be running around the building. Overall, between the safety concerns, terrible parking, lack of working carts, elevator situation, and difficulty getting help from staff, moving out was unnecessarily stressful. A storage facility this large should have MUCH better infrastructure and organization for customers who are literally paying to store and move their belongings here..â
